As the Hammers’ future home continues to take shape, West Ham United are delighted to unveil previously unseen time-lapse footage of the Olympic Stadium’s conversion. West Ham United fan Luke Brunt, 17, was born with a rare life threatening liver disease called Biliary Atresia. He had a lifesaving operation when he was eight weeks old, but will need a liver transplant later in life and is a regular visitor to King’s College Hospital in central London. Luke was nominated for a Like My Dreams experience to give him some festive cheer and joined his mum Tracey at the recent Barclays Premier League fixture with Sunderland
West Ham United players Mark Noble, Joe Cole, Joey O’Brien, Adrian, Ricardo Vaz Te and Mo Diame dropped in at Richard House Children’s Hospice in Beckton for their annual Christmas visit. The players sat down to make Christmas decorations and take part in other activities with the youngsters and their families. The Hammers stars also made a donation to the hospice.
Like My Dreams – West Ham United will make 12 deserving supporters’ dreams come true this Christmas. Three of our Like My Dreams nominees, Stephen Lehan-Port, Harry Chambers, Harry Lawson, received their wish of coaching a 1st team training session at the Chadwell Heath training ground.
West Ham United players visited King George Hospital in Goodmayes to spread some Christmas cheer to staff and patients. Captain Kevin Nolan, James Collins, Stewart Downing, Matt Jarvis, James Tomkins, Razvan Rat, Jack Collison, Matt Taylor and Stephen Henderson put smiles on faces during their festive visit to the Barley Lane hospital on Wednesday afternoon. The players distributed bags full of Hammers goodies in the Clover Children’s Ward and The Cedar Centre day unit for cancer patients and each made a personal donation, while happily signing autographs and posing for photographs with patients, family members and staff alike.
West Ham United’s Like My Dreams initiative is making special fans’ dreams come true this Christmas. Lifelong West Ham fan Kenny Martin was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and underwent six months of chemotherapy and one month of radiotherapy at University College London Hospital. Long-time Season Ticket Holder Kenny, who is now in remission, spent an unforgettable afternoon as Coach for the Day at Chadwell Heath, watching a presentation by assistant manager Neil McDonald and gaining an amazing behind-the-scenes look at how his heroes prepare on a daily basis.

Now 79, Derek has recently been undergoing treatment for a serious illness so, when wife Sylvia nominated him for a Like My Dreams experience, the Club was only too happy to help.
