The Barclays Premier League game against Stoke City will be the third time the Club has dedicated a home match to fundraising for Acorns – with this year’s target set at an ambitious £100,000. Fundraising for Acorns Day will begin ahead of the game – with club staff holding bake sales, sporting challenges and making personal donations.

Children at Ampertaine Primary School in County Londonderry had a special visitor yesterday, when Villa mascot Chip turned up to join in with their assembly. The school decided to collectively support Villa and the children sent in letters for the players.
