Pop sensations JLS have been announced as the Britannia Stadium Big Event’s headline music act for Sunday 2nd June 2013.

Mark Stein and Steve Simonsen, meanwhile, are also amongst the former players confirmed for the event’s charity football game.

Mark Stein will play for the Stoke City side in the charity game that forms part of next month’s Britannia Stadium Big Event.

Stein & co will take on a celebrity team, whilst there will also be live music acts and lots of other entertainment throughout the day.

The Club have today revealed the order of events for the 150th anniversary celebrations at Sunday’s game with Tottenham Hotspur


1966 World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst is one of 80 former Stoke City players attending Sunday’s 150th anniversary celebration match against Tottenham Hotspur.

As part of the occasion, every Stoke City supporter will also be getting a commemorative t-shirt on their seat to mark the occasion.

A look ahead to this weekend’s game against QPR at Loftus Road…
Former Stoke City midfielder Paul Ware today lost his battle against illness to sadly pass away, aged just 42.

Paul made more than 140 appearances for the Potters after starting his career with the Club and famously scored the stunning goal against Peterborough United that sent Stoke through to the final of the Autoglass Trophy in 1992.

RIP Paul.
